Join us for a fun pop-up event with River Takada-Capel following her trip to Japan! River will share textile treasures from Japan while we stitch and mend together using traditional Sashiko techniques. This is a $10 drop in event; supplies for basic mending will be provided and kits for sashiko and other Japanese handcrafts will be available for purchase. We will enjoy Japanese snacks while learning more about traditional techniques and materials! Bring an item to mend or purchase a kit.
