Immerse yourself (figuratively) in the Japanese art of Indigo Dyeing in this 2 day workshop with River Takada-Capel. Students will learn how to set up their Indigo dye bath, prepare their fabric, and create beautiful designs through traditional Shibori techniques, both folded and stitched resists. Each student will go home with the supplies to continue experimenting!
Required materials: All supplies included; bring cotton or linen fabric, garments, or homegoods to dye. Hand sewing experience helpful.
