Colorwork Class: Sandoval Sweater VIRTUAL CLASS

THIS IS A VIRTUAL CLASS THAT MEETS ON ZOOM

Learn techniques for colorwork knitting and open a world of intricate patterns! The Sandoval Sweater has a striking two-color, geometric design that keeps you excited to knit the next row. We will cover general sweater techniques, sizing, colorwork strategies, and short row shaping for your new favorite sweater. Students should have experience working from a pattern with increases and decreases.

Required Materials:

Pattern for Sandoval by This.Bird.Knits (in store or on Ravelry)

2 colors of DK weight yarn for your size (make a 4" swatch)

US 6 (4.0 mm) circular needles, minimum 30” cord

US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles, minimum 30” cord

Needles in both sizes for sleeve knitting (DPNs, magic loop, or 9-12” circular)

Stitch markers, tapestry needle
