We'll cover provisional cast-on, single color brioche, and common brioche terms, techniques, and abbreviations. Students should be comfortable knitting and purling.

Pattern for the Water Born headwrap from Jacqueline Cieslak (in store or on Ravelry)
130-150 yd DK yarn (or one strand of fingering held with one laceweight mohair or other yarn with a halo to equal DK)
Main needles for brioche: US 4 (3.5 mm) 24” circular
Larger needles for i-cord bind off: US 6 (4 mm), any length circular or DPN
Notions: scrap yarn, darning needle, crochet hook for provisional cast-on
