This is a great class for beginners who have sewn a project or two but are new to sewing garments. We’ll go over measuring and sizing, the pattern envelope info, pinning and cutting, and construction from start to finish. Skills demonstrated will be sewing & pressing seams, trimming & clipping curves, understitching, stitching in the ditch, flat fell seams and french seams.
For the first class, we’ll be cutting out the pattern, cutting out the fabric, prepping to sew and answering machine setup questions. All sewing happens in the second and third classes.
