This is the third class in our Sock Academy with Amie Palmer; we're calling it "With Sprinkles On Top" to follow "Drizzled in Chocolate" and "Not So Vanilla."

I'll bet you've never knit a sock quite like this! The unusual construction highlights self-striping yarns and stretches to fit in all the right places.This class will cover figure-8 cast-on, magic loop, three needle bind off, and picking up stitches. Students should be comfortable knitting and purling in the round, and familiar with basic increases and decreases. This pattern can be knit in a variety of yarn weights with corresponding needles.

Required Materials:

40" US Size 1 needles (or size corresponding to your weight of yarn)

100g sock weight yarn (the pattern can accommodate a variety of weights; we recommend no heavier than a DK)

Self striping yarns will highlight the unusual construction, but are not required.
