Sew Your Own: Free Range Slacks

  • Freeman's Creative LLC 2020 Chapel Hill Road #25 Durham, NC, 27707 United States (map)

The Free Range Slacks by Sew House Seven are a great skill-building second project for a confident beginner sewer! Choose from a tapered leg version or a straight leg - both have a high rise, an elastic waist and plenty of pockets. This three session class will cover sizing, length adjustments, pockets, hems, facings and three different kinds of seams: standard, flat fell and French. Ooh la la!

For the first class, you’ll need your sewing machine set up, your paper pattern and some scrap fabric that has a clear right side / wrong side for seam practice. You can get your pants fabric after the first class if you have questions. Get ready for these slacks becoming your go-to garment for the fall!
