Intermediate Sweater: The Sarah Cardigan

  • Freeman's Creative LLC 2020 Chapel Hill Road #25 Durham, NC, 27707 United States (map)

The Sarah cardigan is a perfect fall layer in a cozy rib with large pockets. The pattern uses the Cocoknits method for a perfect fit in the shoulders and chest, while the half-fisherman’s rib gives a very lofty, squishy texture. This class is best for someone who has knit a sweater before and wants to refine fit and learn new techniques, or a confident knitter who has experience reading a pattern, and is very good at following directions.

We will be learning new skills every week, including provisional cast-on, short rows, picking up stitches, i-cord, pockets, buttonholes, half-fisherman's rib, and general sweater fit and shaping.

Instructor: Amie Palmer
