The Romey Gathered Dress by Sew House Seven is a floaty, breezy dress that’s perfect for spring! Featuring a keyhole neckline with a button closure, gathered raglan sleeves, an empire waist and patch pockets, there are plenty of intermediate level skills to explore.
Please come to the first class with your fabric washed, dried and pressed*. No machines needed for the first class – we’ll be doing most of the prep work, so do bring your basic sewing kit!
Instructor: Shaerie Mead
*PLEASE NOTE: the yardages listed are for 54-60” wide fabric due to the sleeve width. If you pick a 42-44” wide fabric, add ¾ yard to the listed requirement for your size. I will demo an alternative layout for this fabric width.
Equipment Needed: sewing machine with zig-zag options. For lengthening/shortening pattern: extra paper and clear tape. We have irons & boards here in the classroom, you will need your own if working from home.
