Let's make the Fringe Town Bag, now a home sewing pattern from Grainline Studio! This roomy tote will organize projects of all sizes, with a drawstring closure and a variety of interior and exterior pockets. Students should be comfortable setting up and sewing straight lines on their machine and using a paper pattern.

Please come to class with your pattern and fabric pieces cut out. Leave your pattern pieces pinned to your fabric so we can go over markings.

Materials:

Paper Pattern for the Town Bag

1 yard mid to heavy-weight canvas, twill, denim, or similar fabric

Coordinating thread

Denim machine needle

Hera Marker or other marking tool

Town Bag notions kit -OR-

2.5 yards cotton braided cording

1.5 yards cotton webbing (1.25")

8 double cap rivets (6 mm, optional)

Punch and rivet setter (optional)
