These comfortable elastic waist pants are polished enough for the real world! This pattern is a skill-building project for a confident beginner, and will cover pockets, hems, facings, and seams (standard, flat fell, and french!) along with basic fit adjustments. Students should be comfortable setting up their machine and sewing straight lines, and have some experience sewing from a pattern.
For the first class, you’ll need your sewing machine set up, your paper pattern pieces cut out, tape, extra paper, and some scrap fabric for seam practice.
