Learn to work with the versatile medium of ink! Participants will learn a variety of techniques and fundamentals of ink while experimenting with tone and mark making. From there, everyone will make their own series of ink drawings inspired by Gothic Romance from the Victorian Age. Each participant will leave with 4 finished drawings.

Materials:

1 bottle of India Ink Black

2 round watercolor brushes sizes 2-8 (like this Watercolor brush set)

Black Micron pens (01 + 05) or any other permanent ink pen such as Sharpie fine line, rollerball, etc...

#2 pencil or similar

Drawing paper (like this pad)

We will have plenty of loaner brushes, rinse cups, and cleanup supplies on hand
