Knitters and quilters unite to knit a cardigan that feels like being wrapped in a quilt! We’ll cover a variety of colorwork techniques, including stranded colorwork, intarsia, and ladderback jacquard, as we knit our squares. Later classes will cover construction, seaming, picking up for sleeves, sleeve shaping, button bands, and finishing. Students should be comfortable knitting and purling in the round. Previous color work and sweater knitting experience are helpful. This is not an ideal first sweater...
Swatching before class is not necessary, we will use our first square as a gauge swatch.
