This morning session is for adults (18+).
Re-acquaint yourself with your serger and take your serger skills from nervous to no fear! We will cover threading practice, finishing tips and tricks, pattern recommendations, fabric choices, and needles and thread. On day 2, we will make underwear, and day 3 will be for serging a garment of your choice.
Instructor River Takada has 10+ years of experience using a serger for clothing and production sewing. Bring your functional, tested serger and refresh the basics!
Supplies:
-Your working serger and manual
-4 spools of serger thread
-Tweezers
-Fabric for personal projects, pre-washed and pre-shrunk
Bring your own machine in good, working condition or rent a classroom machine.

*Differential feed will not be covered in this workshop- we will be keeping the setting on our machines at the same place the whole time.
