Sew Your Own: Mave Skirt IN PERSON

  • Freeman's Creative LLC 2020 Chapel Hill Road #25 Durham, NC, 27707 United States (map)

This easy, breezy skirt is a summer wardrobe essential, and it's beginner-friendly! We'll go over choosing a size, marking and cutting out fabric, gathering and attaching ruffles, inserting an elastic waistband, and sewing buttonholes and narrow hems. Students should be comfortable setting up and sewing by machine, and maintaining an accurate seam allowance.

Instructor: Erin West

Materials:

Pattern- The Mave Skirt from True Bias. If using a PDF pattern, come with your pattern assembled. It's a good idea to read through the pattern instructions in advance of class.
